Your Kenya wildlife safari begins with a confirmed pick-up from your hotel or airport in Nairobi and a transfer to the departure zone. After meeting your professional safari driver-guide and receiving a brief orientation, you will depart Nairobi via Waiyaki Way. Your first stopover is at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint to enjoy washroom facilities and take in panoramic views of the escarpment wall. Descend the rift valley floor and drive through Narok town, arriving at your Masai Mara accommodation property in time for check-in and a hot lunch. In the late afternoon, embark on an introductory two-to-three-hour evening game drive in the Masai Mara, world-renowned for the annual Wildebeest Migration and abundant Big Five wildlife. Begin your morning with a warm cup of tea or coffee before an optional visit to an authentic Maasai village. During the village visit, you will interact with the local Maasai people, watch traditional dances, and learn about their cultural heritage (entrance fee paid directly at the village). Afterward, check out and depart for Lake Naivasha, enjoying scenic lunch en route and changing landscapes featuring views of Mount Longonot. Upon arrival in Naivasha, you have the option to take a relaxing boat safari on Lake Naivasha to spot hippos and birdlife, or take a guided walking safari among wild herbivores on Crescent Island. After breakfast at the resort, head to Hell's Gate National Park for an active morning adventure. Enjoy nature walks, observe unique vegetation, and spot geothermal scenery, birds, and wildlife. You can choose to participate in optional activities such as bicycle riding through the park or hiking and climbing through the dramatic Hell's Gate gorges with a local guide. In the early afternoon, return to the main gate area to enjoy a hot lunch. After concluding your park activities and taking in your final safari memories, depart Naivasha for the drive back to Nairobi, where your driver-guide will drop you off at your hotel or the airport.
