Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Your safari adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or private residence by your professional driver-guide. You will journey south through the scenic Maasai plains along the Mombasa Highway, enjoying local views along the route before turning toward the park gates. You will arrive at the park in time to check into the luxurious Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge, nestled in the heart of the park's acacia forests, where you will sit down for a fresh, upscale lunch. After a brief midday relaxation, you will head out for an extensive afternoon game drive inside the reserve. You will explore the open plains and seasonal swamps, which are famous for harboring massive elephant bulls, lions, cheetahs, and zebras. On a clear afternoon, you will enjoy stunning, panoramic photography opportunities with diverse wildlife grazing against the majestic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. In the late evening, you have the optional opportunity to visit a traditional Maasai village for an authentic cultural experience with the local community before returning to the luxury lodge for a premium dinner and overnight stay. Day 2: Amboseli National Park to Nairobi You will start your day with an early morning breakfast at the lodge followed immediately by a morning game drive through the park tracks. This early morning exploration offers your absolute best chance to view active predators tracking prey and catch completely clear, cloudless views of Mount Kilimanjaro's snow-capped peak before daytime thermal clouds cover the summit. Your driver-guide will track hippos wallowing in the swamps alongside hundreds of species of native waterbirds. After an incredible morning of wildlife viewing, you will return briefly to the lodge to check out of your rooms, exit the national park gates, and begin your return drive to Nairobi, Kenya.
