Safari Highlights

Day-by-Day Itinerary

1

Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve

Your classic Kenyan safari begins with a morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) by your private professional driver-guide. Leave the city behind and travel west, stopping at the spectacular Great Rift Valley viewpoint for panoramic photos of the sweeping landscape below. Continue your journey through the Maasai market town of Narok, arriving at the Masai Mara Sopa Lodge in time for check-in and a fresh lunch. In the afternoon, head out on your first thrilling game drive across the rolling savannah, tracking majestic elephant herds, zebras, and apex predators. Return to the lodge at sunset for a warm dinner. Accommodation: Masai Mara Sopa Lodge

2

Full Day in Masai Mara Game Reserve

Dedicate a magnificent full day to exploring the expansive grasslands of the Masai Mara. Carrying packed picnic lunches from the lodge, venture deep into the reserve to track Africa's legendary Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—alongside cheetahs, spotted hyenas, and towering giraffes. Travel down toward the winding Mara River, the historic site of the dramatic annual wildebeest migration crossings. Enjoy a memorable picnic lunch under the shade of a solitary acacia tree surrounded by the wilderness. Continue your game viewing through the afternoon before returning to the comfort of your lodge for dinner. Accommodation: Masai Mara Sopa Lodge

3

Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park

Following a relaxed morning breakfast, you may choose to visit an authentic Maasai village to engage with the local community, learn about their ancient traditions, and watch cultural dances (available at an extra cost). Afterward, depart the Mara and drive toward the floor of the Great Rift Valley, enjoying beautiful en-route views of the dormant Mount Longonot volcano and the waters of Lake Naivasha. Arrive at the premium Sarova Lion Hill Lodge, beautifully nested inside Lake Nakuru National Park, during the afternoon. Spend the rest of your evening relaxing at leisure, taking a dip in the pool, or enjoying a serene sunset view before a gourmet dinner. Accommodation: Sarova Lion Hill Lodge

4

Lake Nakuru – Amboseli National Park

Set out on an early morning game drive inside Lake Nakuru National Park, a critical sanctuary highly celebrated for its thriving populations of endangered black and white rhinos. Scan the yellow-fever acacia woodlands for rare Rothschild giraffes, tree-climbing lions, and leopards, then drive up to the Baboon Cliff viewpoint for a sweeping view over the pink-fringed shoreline teeming with flamingos and pelicans. Return to the lodge for a full breakfast before checking out. Depart for Amboseli National Park, enjoying a scenic journey with a lunch stop along the way. Arrive at the peaceful Oilepo Amboseli Lodge in the evening to check in, unwind, and enjoy a warm dinner. Accommodation: Oilepo Amboseli Lodge

5

Full Day in Amboseli National Park

Spend an intensive full day discovering the dramatic landscapes of Amboseli National Park. Begin with a breathtaking sunrise game drive when Mount Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peaks are typically clear and cloudless. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast, then spend the rest of your day tracking Amboseli’s world-famous giant elephant bulls and large matriarchal herds. Your guide can pack a picnic field lunch or return to the property between drives. Explore the contrast between the dry, dusty lake beds and the lush emerald swamps where hippos, buffaloes, and hundreds of vibrant bird species gather. Return to the lodge for your final safari dinner. Accommodation: Oilepo Amboseli Lodge

6

Amboseli – Nairobi

Rise early for a final morning game drive through Amboseli, capturing your last close-up photos of wildlife navigating the marshlands against the iconic backdrop of Africa's tallest mountain. Return to the property for a fresh breakfast, check out of your room, and begin your drive back toward Nairobi. Enjoy a comfortable journey with a lunch stop included along the route. Arrive in the capital city by mid-afternoon, where your private guide will transfer you directly to your preferred city hotel or to the airport for your onward flight, concluding your unforgettable safari.
